Well as usual life is great. This past Tuesday I had a call from my son Justin to inform me that his dad had been to Court and I am now officially divorced. Let’s just say that made my year. Friday the 9th was my dad's birthday so I was a bit blue since I miss him so much but was able to finally complete the second book in my series. It was originally dubbed Case of the Dead Husband but upon the advice of John my new P.R. GUY the title had been changed to Twice Dead in Texas. He thought I should keep with the Texas theme and I agree. Bridgett is in love with him so she just gives me attention so I don't feel left out. I ended up staying out at his ranch for 8 days while he and Jim worked on my truck. They have done quite a bit work on it and I am flabbergasted that they have taken on the monumental task of keeping her going. John on the other hand has been busy working his way into my heart. I look into those pretty green eyes of his and get lost sometimes so I have to slap myself to keep my head straight.
Damn Marines.
I love spending time there at the ranch but I need to keep my head on my shoulders. John's sister Lydia is this great woman that never ceases to amaze me. She and Jim have accepted me into the family which leaves me speechless.
Now that I am completely through with the whole marriage and I am a free woman I guess it is time to move on and enjoy the life that I have ahead of me. Look out world Here I Come!
