Nitrous charged

Last week the hunky Dr. Krause fixed my aching left foot. He made an incision then injected Nitrous oxide into three locations thus putting the nerves to sleep so I can walk without pain. I have to admit it worked like a charm. Now we have to wait a week or two before he does the same thing to my right foot. You have to admit it is pretty cool having a nitrous injected foot. I wonder if I can go faster now that I'm nitrous charged.
I have to admit that I am enjoying my leave of absence from work. I am taking this time to figure out where I want to go next in my life. The publisher has my contract for Dead X's in Texas now so the publishing process is about to commence. I have John to help me with the publicity and book signings so hopefully I will do a little better with the second book. The important thing is I need to stay positive. I know this rest will do me good and I will be able to go hiking and fishing before I know it. John and i have plans to start riding bikes soon. That will be great because all this sitting down and resting is making me impatient and cranky.
Thank you John for being there for me and thank you for all you have done. I'm starting to like having the Sarge in charge.

Back in the Saddle

Wonders cease to amaze. I am back in the saddle so to say. I finally have a computer and an internet connection. I must say I really missed blogging. A lot has happened in the past few months. I am now a kept woman since I now live with John in his little pea pod along with Mater and Bridget. My second book will be released soon and I have had my first book signing. The strangest thing is I am on a leave of absence from work because of foot problems. The Dr. just put nitros oxide in my arch to kill the pains I have been having thanks to standing on my feet for long hours. Now for the sad news. My pretty red truck is up for sale. Now that i have a little time on my hands I can blog more regurlarly. Wow it is good to be back.

Who Knew I Never Expected it to happen

Well now that I am a single woman I did not expect this man to walk into my life and shake it all up. John has done just that. I love spending my time with him and must say Mater and Bridgett think he is now their daddy. The funny thing is I am so relaxed with him. He seems to know when something is bothering me and keeps me laughing. We take long drives, stop off at a moments notice just to go fishing and sometimes just sit for hours talking. I think the thing that touches me most is how he is such a loving father to his daughter. She may be miles away busy with her own life but he takes the time to send her imaginative surprises and little text and pictures.I wished my daughter Kikki had a father like that.
I have completed book number two which I ended up calling DEAD X'S IN TEXAS
Now I am just waiting for the publisher to send me the paper contract before the publishing process can take place. John has came up with a great idea for the cover so I am looking forward to seeing it. I have decided to include him in the next book. Just a few months ago I could not imagine having someone like him in my life. Who knew I never expect it to happen.
